Shell Tixophalte

Description

Shell Tixophalte is a cold applicable ready to use adhesive, joint filling mastic and sealant based on bitumen.

Application

Especially developed for the roofing industry. Specially recommended as an adhesive for applying insulation plates (polyurethane, polystyrene and other) to usual surfaces. As an adhesive for roof paths or a roof construction and as a roof sealant for emergency repairs even under fully wet circumstances. Also suitable as a filler in vertical joints, as a universal adhesive for materials which have no resistance against high temperatures and the usual solvents. Also suitable as a coach work protecting coating for under water applications.
